Kano State Government has announced ban on all celebrations during the forth coming Eid-el-Kabir festival in order to prevent spread of Coronavirus in the state.
The Commissioner of Information, Comrade Muhammad Garba disclosed this during a press conference in his office.
According to him, Eid prayers would be carried out in compliance strictly with the laid down protocols.
Our correspondent Suraj Naiya Kududdufawa reported that the commissioner maintained that all the Emirs of the four Emirate Councils around the state which include Ƙaraye, Gaya Rano and Bichi will carry out the prayers at their councils.
Most of activities in the state have been suspended since March due to Coronavirus Pandamic and some activities are still unscheduled to resume.
