After LMC allowed Captain of Kano Pillars Rabiu Ali popularly known as Pele on his 12 match ban has come under review considering the community service he rendered as directed by League Management Company.
Instead Kano Pillars play 12 matches without Pele now LMC reduced it to four matches and Rabiu Ali is free now because Kano Pillars played four
matches without Nigerian Pele, mean 12 matches ban suspended after serving 5 matches.
Below are some commuted sentences by League Management Company from previous seasons.
7 October 2015 2014/15 season Sunday Abe of Sunshine Stars 6 matches ban commuted to suspended sentence after serving 4-matches.
In 2016 Season, Chief Ifeanyi Ubah was ban for 10 matches with 4 suspended and it was commuted after serving 4-matches
16 February 2018 2017/18 season 9 players and 2 officials of FC Ifeanyiubah – 12 matches /19 matches bans lifted after serving 10 matches
14 April 2018 Change Boys team manager, remaining suspension 4 matches commuted to suspended sentence.
14 November 2019 Coach Kayode Julius of Sunshine Stars, one year suspension suspended after 7 months
